Robert van Grootel, Director & Principal WHS Consultant at Hawkeye Safety Solutions, founded the company in December 2021. With extensive expertise in Work Health and Safety (WHS), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and safety management systems, Robert brings decades of experience. His background includes nearly a decade as Group WHS Manager at BGC Housing Group, a leading WA home builder, and prior roles as an OSH Consultant at CCI WA and Safety Advisor at the Master Builders Association of WA.

A former licensed scaffolder and rigger, Robert's qualifications include a Diploma in WHS and expertise in hazardous substances, contractor management, working at heights, rigging, and scaffolding. He is a trusted WHS consultant for construction safety, manufacturing safety, and commercial safety in Western Australia.
